AIC is awaiting confirmation of its future ABFP funding (2020-2021).
Aboriginal Impact Capital (AIC) is a joint-effort of four participating Aboriginal Financial Institutions (AFIs) serving southern Ontario. AIC's role is to help Indigenous entrepreneurs and organizations find sources of financing for their business projects. AIC also delivers the Aboriginal Business Financing Program (ABFP), that supplements the loans offered by the four participating AFIs.
AIC recommends every client establish a relationship with their local Aboriginal Financial Institution (AFI). AFIs offer business loans and other programs, plus, they also make recommendation on AIC non-repayable contribution ("grants").
Even if you don't access AFI financing now, AIC needs the concurrence of your AFI to provide a contribution to your project and business.
By understanding your business, your local AFI will be positioned to help you grow your business either now and/or in the future.
AIC focuses on delivering the Aboriginal Business Financing Program (ABFP) in support of Indigenous business growth in southern Ontario.
ABFP funds enables access to AFI financing and ultimately helps reduce risks and costs.
AIC also helps entrepreneurs and organizations path-find to various financing sources.
Note: AIC is currently awaiting confirmation of the amount and timing of its 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 funding. Based on current information, our 2020-2021 funding is fully committed, however we continue to identify new project with anticipation of additional future funding and programs.
Aboriginal Financial Institutions (AFIs) offer term loans and other financing in support of Indigenous business growth.
Note: the southern Ontario Aboriginal Financial Institutions (AFIs) are launching programming to deliver emergency financing related to COVID-19. Please contact your local AFI to be placed on their mailing list in order to receive timely information on when the program is launched and how to apply.
