Indigenous Organization Business Projects

Starting April 1, 2020, AIC is focused primarily on supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs and their small-and-medium sized businesses. 

For Indigenous organizations in southern Ontario, including First Nations, AIC will be focused on path-finding and helping to find the best sources of funding and/or financing.

Subject to availability of funds, AIC may be able to consider small projects (contributions not exceeding $25,000) whose benefits will accrue broadly to Indigenous entrepreneurs of a community. Larger contribution may be considered (subject to our funder guidelines) but these will ultimately be determined by the local IFI.

Before any contributions can be considered, consultations must be conducted with the appropriate local IFI.
